landart: grene (branches)
It was so natural to plant these branches on fields and strands. Nobody asked what it was. All seemed to know. I heard a man explaining: "This is, what they did in former times." No, they didn't - but they could have done...golgota
I was asked to join a group-project on the "Way of the Cross". My task was the crucifixion and I made a copy of an old book-painting. When I raised it, I was nearly crucified by the group. I was never asked again...alle tränen (all the tears)
It took me many attempts to make these bowls of wax. They are so fragile. Once lying in their bed they cannot be lifted up again. During the opening of the exhibition I poured salt into them.memento
A combination of three works: My baby-clothes, the names of all people I was or am connected to, and the wax-frozen butterflies as a symbol for change...zinc
The zinc-coffin bears my reflection. That means: I'm not in it. In spite of all the times I was close to it.antigone
Although it was strictly forbidden, Antigone took care of her dead brother. This installation remembers - without transfiguration or judgement - every young man whose name is written on the wall among the other victims of the wars.magnificat
Some works on a vers from the gospel according to Luke: "He has put down kings from their seats, lifting up on high the men of low degree." (1,52)
