In times of GPS we forget all about the use of maps and stars. In this series I add some comments and memories to old roadmaps and remember the original sense of navigation.

In 1901, Paul Schmidt, the founder of the "Daimon"-company devised the 4,5 V battery. This model was the main battery type during my childhood and "Daimon" was my favourite brand. I just changed their colours.

Max Sauerlandt, a famous German art-historian, wrote in 1925 "Deutsche Plastik des Mittelalters". Using my typewriter I copied his book on acrylic paint and added some comments, using one of the most common medieval symbols.
